As from the beginning of august the ROUTE 2218 is being prepared to be asphalted.
This means possible temporary closings.
Coming from Mellerud (166) there are no severe problems on ROUTE 2218 north. Maye you
have to wait a couple of minutes here or there.
After 10km's there is a sign to the entrance of the camping.
From the north (Dals Långed) there are no severe problems either. After 13km's is the sign
to the entrance of the camping.

ahead on the junction with 166 (with petrol station,) into
Bäckefors.
After Bäckefors you will have a marvellous tour through
the forrest. 13Km straight through the woods
with beautiful views and superb ponds.
no punishment indeed to take this detour! But beware
of wildlife!
From Mellerud you drive, via road 166 to Bäckefors
(23Km) and take a right into the village at the gas
station. See further

If you come from the north, then the ROUTE 2218
might also closed.
From Dals Långed you have 2 options:
drive via road 172 to Bäckefors and then further
as above, or - and that is very spectacular! - take the
"Brudfjällsvägen" (we call it "the widows-road")
